Indian Animation Industry is expected to reach USD 950 million & Indian Gaming Industry is expected to reach USD 300 Million by 2009. The market for mobile game development is expected to grow by more than 12 times during the same period. However, the scarcity of skilled personnel will continue to hamper the growth of the industry even in the coming years. India currently needs 10,000 animation professionals annually, only around 3,000 are available. Over 300,000 skilled animators will be required by 2008.
